Terms of Service

These terms cover snow removal booked with Plowabunga LLC ("Plowabunga", "we", "us") through plowabunga.com or by contacting us. By booking, you agree to them.

The service

We clear snow from residential driveways and small commercial lots, with optional salting and sidewalk clearing, on demand. We don't offer seasonal contracts online. Online booking covers Arden Hills, Blaine, Brooklyn Center, Columbia Heights, Fridley, Mounds View, New Brighton, Northeast Minneapolis, Roseville, Shoreview, Spring Lake Park, St. Anthony. For other areas, or lots over 30,000 sq ft, email plowabunga1@gmail.com.

Prices

Your price is shown before you book. It depends on the size of the area, the snow depth you book, and the add-ons you choose. Prices include everything; there is no sales tax.

Payment

• As soon as possible: you pay when you book.
• Next snowfall: we save your card when you book and charge it at 6 AM (Central time) on the service day, or when your driver heads your way if that is earlier.
• If your card is declined, we'll pause the job and text you a link to pay. If the snowfall moves to another day, we may move your service date, and the charge moves with it.
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe.

Cancellations and refunds

• If you cancel before your card is charged, you aren't charged at all.
• After the charge, you get a full refund if you cancel before your driver is on the way.
• Once your driver is on the way, the booking can't be canceled for a refund.
• We may cancel a booking, for example for unsafe conditions; if we do, you get a full refund.

More snow than you booked

You book for an expected snow depth. If more snow falls, we'll contact you to either pay the difference or cancel for a full refund. A promo code's discount also applies to the difference. Your crew may also choose to do the job at the price you booked.

Timing and weather

We work in snow, and storms can cause delays. Morning (AM) and afternoon (PM) times are our goal, not a guarantee. "Next snowfall" bookings are done after at least 2 inches of snow falls.

Your property

• You must own the property or have permission to book snow removal there.
• Please move cars and objects out of the area, mark hazards and anything hidden under the snow (edging, sprinkler heads, curbs, rocks), and tell us if your driveway is gravel.
• We push snow to the edges of the area cleared. Snow piles and normal wear from plowing are expected.
• If you think something was damaged, email plowabunga1@gmail.com as soon as possible with photos, so we can look into it.

Photos

Our crew takes photos of the cleared areas after each job, for our records and to send to you.

Promo codes and tips

Promo codes are for residential driveways, one per booking, have no cash value, and may expire. Tips are optional and go 100% to your driver. Promo discounts don't apply to tips.

Text messages

Plowabunga service texts: if you check the box when you book, you agree to receive text messages about your booking from Plowabunga: a confirmation, a text when your crew is on the way, a photo when the job is done, and messages about payment, changes or cancellation. We don't send marketing texts.

• Message frequency varies, usually a few messages per booking.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to cancel at any time. Reply HELP for help, or email plowabunga1@gmail.com.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Agreeing to texts is not required to book.

Our responsibility

We do our best to do every job well and safely. To the extent the law allows, our responsibility for any claim about a job is limited to the amount you paid for that job.

Changes and Minnesota law

We may update these terms; the version posted here when you book applies to that booking. These terms are governed by Minnesota law.
