Plowabunga LLC ("Plowabunga", "we", "us") provides on-demand snow removal in the north Twin Cities metro (Arden Hills, Blaine, Brooklyn Center, Columbia Heights, Fridley, Mounds View, New Brighton, Northeast Minneapolis, Roseville, Shoreview, Spring Lake Park, St. Anthony). This policy explains what information we collect when you use plowabunga.com or book with us, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Booking details: your name, mobile phone number, email address if you give it, service address and city, property size, the services you choose, your notes for the crew, and the date and time you want.
- Payment details: payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We keep a record of what you paid, refunds, and Stripe's reference numbers.
- Photos: after each job, our crew takes photos of the areas we cleared, for our records and to send to you.
- Messages: texts and emails you send us.
- Basic technical information your browser sends when you visit our site, such as device and browser type.
How we use it
- To schedule and do the snow removal you booked, and to send your crew to the right place.
- To take payment, give refunds, and keep business and tax records.
- To send you service text messages, if you agreed to them (see below).
- To answer your questions and handle problems with a job.
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
- Our crew: drivers see the address, city, job details and your notes for the crew. They do not see your name, phone number or what you paid.
- Companies that help us run the service, only as needed for that job: Stripe (payments), Twilio (text messages), Google Maps (finding your address on a map), Supabase (secure data storage) and our website host.
- When the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our crew or our customers.
Text messages
If you check the box to receive texts when you book, we send service messages about your booking: a confirmation, a text when your crew is on the way, a photo when the job is done, and messages about payment, changes or cancellation. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Agreeing to texts is not required to book.
We do not sell, rent or share your mobile phone number or your consent to receive texts with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Your number is shared with our text message provider (Twilio) only to deliver our messages to you.
How long we keep it
We keep booking, payment and photo records for as long as we need them to provide the service, handle questions or disputes, and meet tax and legal requirements.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any text to stop texts from us.
- Email plowabunga1@gmail.com to see, correct or delete your information. We may need to keep some records for tax or legal reasons.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, and trusted providers for payments and data storage. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Children
Our services are for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new date.
